Neurofeedback helps to rebalance a person's whole way of thinking, feeling, and being. The method that I use is called the Low Energy Neurofeedback System or LENS. It is the easiest and most applicable neurofeedback approach since the client does not have to work at getting a result; it is automatic. Our EEG (electroencephlogram) equipment communicates with the client's brain automatically. The client's brain rebalances itself without the client consciously doing anything. This means we can use this approach with everyone, even someone in a coma! Read more about LENS on the official website.
When someone suffers trauma, be it emotional or physical, or becomes neuro-physiologically imbalanced, neurofeedback may be of enormous benefit to help them reclaim their potential. Although, it won't make someone smarter, faster, or better than they are physically or genetically capable, neurofeedback can bring back their best.
Often those who've experienced the benefits of neurofeedback therapy feel a sense of becoming their "old self"—reclaiming the potential and capabilities they have previously experienced at peak times. Successful treatment helps the brain and nervous system to regain equilibrium and stability and better control/balance itself.

The picture above is one taken from a LENS Brain Map (not Nicole's map). The left side is the left hemisphere, the right side is the right hemisphere of the brain. The difference in colors shows a major imbalance in brain functioning.
This person struggles with verbal tasks, thinking in ordered steps, and remembering names and dates.
LENS neurofeedback balances the two hemispheres and improves functioning after a few sessions.
