‘Sociology’ Auguste Comte in 1839. Being the

‘Sociology’ was coined as a term by Auguste
Comte in 1839. Being the most recent social science it develops on the nature
of man and the society. In other words, Sociology is essentially the science of
the society as it based upon human behavior and interaction among beings in social
settings and social relationships. Sociology as a science has its own scope and
boundaries, which depend on two main schools (1) The Specialistic School and
(2) The Synthetic School, where the specialistic school believes in studying the
parts that form the society, on the contrary the synthetic school studies the
society as a whole. It’s regarded as a social science as it considers people’s affairs
and interactions by emphasizing on social life and inculcates information from
various social sciences, such as economics, political science, psychology
